Whole Wheat Bread (Nana Bread)
Whole wheat bread with interchangeable additions

Ingredients

| 3T | yeast | |
| 3 Cups | warm water | |
| 1/4 Cup | molasses | |
| 1/2 Cup | honey | |
| 1/4 Cup | oil | any type of vegetable oil |
| 4 Cups | whole wheat flour | |
| 4 Cups | bread flour | |
| 1 T | salt | |
| 1 Cup | cracked wheat or millet or 7 grain cereal |
Instructions
- In large mixing bowl , add 1 teaspoon of sugar to 1/2 cup of warm water.
- Dissolve year in the sugar water.
- Let double and bubble ~5-10 minutes.
- Mix in rest of ingredients.
- Stir with wooden spoon until mixed through.
- Knead until smooth and elastic adding more flour as necessary, ~10 minutes.
- Cover with a clean towel and let raise until doubled, ~1hr.
- Punch down
- Shape into 3 loaves and put in loaf pans.
- Cover with towel and raise until double, ~1hr.
- Bake 30-40 minutes or until browned and done.
