{"id":44,"date":"2009-03-18T23:26:10","date_gmt":"2009-03-18T23:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/?p=44"},"modified":"2009-03-18T23:26:10","modified_gmt":"2009-03-18T23:26:10","slug":"what-has-he-gotten-into-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/?p=44","title":{"rendered":"what has he gotten into now?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Liam has been walking since December, but really started to get the hang of it in January.\u00a0 Since then nothing seems to be safe.\u00a0 If he can reach it (and he reach seems to be increasing daily), he will open it, play with it, rip it apart, etc...\u00a0 The edges of the kitchen counter are no longer safe.\u00a0 If I cease to pay attention for a minute, invariably the next thing out of my mouth is, \"Liam what have you gotten into now?\".\u00a0 I fear it is just a matter of time before he starts trying to climb to the top of the refrigerator.\u00a0 ack!<\/p>\n<p>He is active, curious, loves to be tickled, go for walks (and be chased), play with anything that has buttons (especially phones and computer keyboards), look at books, and pretty much anything that doesn't require sitting still.<\/p>\n<p>We started swim classes a couple of weeks ago.\u00a0 Mostly at this stage we are getting used to being in the pool.\u00a0 The skill that we work on in class are kicking, blowing bubbles, front floating, back floating, going under water, and getting into the pool.\u00a0 David and I switch off weeks on who gets to get in the water with Liam.\u00a0 The last week of his first swim session, we got to go down the big water slide at the pool.\u00a0 Liam loved it, and I had fun too.<\/p>\n<p>Today for the first time, Liam gave me a kiss after I prompted for a kiss (instead of me just giving him kisses).\u00a0 Needless to say I am still smiling about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Liam has been walking since December, but really started to get the hang of it in January.\u00a0 Since then nothing seems to be&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-44","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-liam"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/44","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=44"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/44\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=44"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=44"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/abzug.org\/home\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=44"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
